Sitting Pres has every right to use the military to prevent govt takeover via stolen election. Trump failed on this. The country basically ended when Trump turned over the WH to an illegal president ( Biden). I doubt it can be recovered. Both parties are too corrupt and ignoramuses like you support the corruption

Yes, he has the power to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the military must support and defend the Constitution. If they don't, then it falls to the citizens to bring down the tyrannical government.

Oath of office President of the United States:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."


Oath for Commissioned Officers:
