Maybe it never occurred to him.
Feigning ignorance is a weak defense. If it occurred to an Internet troll like myself, it must have occurred to someone within the Brandon administration.

Might as well admit that the Brandon administration is too damned scared to take any strong stance against a hostile foreign nation.

We see it with RuZZia, we see it with Iran, and we see it with China.

And the only justification for Brandon's abysmal foreign policy is, "At least he's not Trump."
