Hi Ken, Sounds like the same problem. I used to do the same thing - leave my monitor on to maintain good color. After some time (I don't remember how long) that didn't work either - the color would randomly come and go. It took my kids getting on my case to get it fixed. Just before I sent it back, the monitor started flashing different colors. I was very happy to find out it was a known problem and that Apple was replacing the monitors free even if it's out of warranty. If you don't know who your local Apple authorized service provider is, call Apple at 800-538-9696.
