>>Lay off the ether. If a newbie were to only read your posts, they would get the idea that Iomega has discoverd the cure for cancer, and KE walks on water. It's Iomaniacal super-bulls like you who give IOM the terrible rep it has to live with. The image of wide-eyed "I Been Hypnotized!" faces is what The Street thinks of the typical Iomega Bull. You seem to fit this bill to a tee.<< Rocky - Both you and Ken Pomeranski have chosen to respond to the most extreme example of a bullish post that has been seen on this thread in months. Ken says the post represents a rising tide of hysteria, and you're worried about what would happen if some mythic newbie read only that person's posts. Rocky, why would anyone read only one person's posts on this thread? And if someone did read only one person's posts, how would they choose that one particular person? It seems to me that there is no cause for alarm. Anyone who reads a few dozen posts on this thread will be exposed to differing viewpoints representing a range of bullish to bearish opinions. Yes, they will see more bullishness, in general, because that is the nature of most of these kinds of threads. Frankly, I think most of the lont-time bulls are sounding pretty depressed lately. I only wish I could work up some good hysteria! I find it funny, Rocky, that when the Wall Street Journal's Electronic Edition wrote their recent story about how Internet followers of Iomega were still positive after the last quarterly report, the first bull they chose to quote was you. If you really want to help the newbies out, you'll work on trying to make good sense when you advance the bearish case. You do have some valid points mixed in with your opinions-stated-as-facts. - Allen
