More Americans Leave the Workforce as Participation Rate Drops Again (msn.com)

Looking at the graph, it seems the participation rate is down by a full percentage point compared to pre-pandemic levels:



That represents approximately one million able-bodied workers who simply stopped working.

The reasons are numerous. Can't blame it all on Brandon, but I'd appreciate it if he or Brenda was even aware of this problem in the first place.

Wharfie, have you been following the World Cup? Lots of craziness in the preliminaries:
  • USA beats Iran, makes it to the elimination round, and Iranians cheer.
  • Japan beats Germany and makes it to the elimination round.
  • Korea beats Portugal and by some freak miracle also makes it to the elimination round. (Though Korea was able to beat Portugal because Portugal, already having secured the bracket, didn't play their starters.)
