Dear John: In the name of the Lord, welcome. It is interesting to note that several people in the bible came up as a memorial before God. One was Dorcas, who gave of herself by making coats for the poor. Another was Cornelius, whose alms giving was noted, and God chose him as a vessel to bring the holy spirit to the gentiles. Then there was the lady that anointed Christ with spiknard , a years salary, obviously, a wealthy person. So people from all walks of life can come up before God as a memorial. Earthly memorials can last 1000 years, 10,000 ? years. Think of how long a heavenly memorial lasts. Main point, God notes our giving, and our hearts, let me just stop here and speak to myself; Lord give me a giving heart, a willing hand, and an educable mind.. In Christ.gregor
