No, I am talking about demographics. The kids see the difference in the two parties and voted in record numbers in 2022. When someone sees and understands something they don't just change.

Gen Z is better informed than any generation in history due to the internet. They and the newly emancipated females will not become Republicans ever, as that is a nothing party of clowns and criminals like MTG, Boebert and McConnell and Kevin McCarthy-people with no valid humanitarian ideology.

I look at society in terms of history and human evolution with regard to enlightenment. The kids voted least for Trump and the old fucks like me, voted most for Trump as they are uninformed, and each succeeding generation voted with less enlightenment than the previous one.

Look at the changes in humanity and civil rights we have seen over the last 100/200 years, The world ended slavery, segregation, misogyny, etc.

I do believe the Democratic party has been the smart humane party for the last 100 years and the Republican party, the party of the ignorant, supporting plutocrats and autocrats--- since Hoover, Harding and Coolidge.

Virtually all the social progress made in this country has been done by the democrats, and the kids see it and is why they are becoming dems and shunning pubs.

And they are voting in larger numbers than other generation their age.

Gen Z females voted 72% for Democrats across the nation in 2022.

The kids and females will lead this country and very few will be Republicans, or even moderate Democrats..

The new crop will be like Mary Peltola and Maria Gluesenkamp.

Hard core liberals.

PS all my liberal friends from 60 years ago are still liberal, as am I.

And I am not talking about a perfect system, I am just talking about catching up with the rest of the western democracies!

Young people are always idealistic. Then they get married, have kids, make mortgage payments….and get less idealistic. Happens every generation.

You sound like an Evangelical, talking about when Jesus descends from the clouds, defeats the Devil and all his evil minions, and establishes the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Only difference: your Devil is Trump, the evil minions would be DeSantis, McCarthy, etc. Bernie Sanders is Moses. Who is the Progressive Savior? Has She been born yet?
