Elroy J, I woke up at about 2:00 AM unable to sleep, probably because my second CYMI purchase in two weeks is in the money...and read the latest Smart Money issue which arrived yesterday. There is a page, toward the back devoted to an article on Mr. Fleckenstein and his firm: RTM. It gives a little insight into his thinking and the tribulations of a full-time shorter. Didn't mention Cymer's light bulbs however. Bill Peavey

He made the laughable comment that "the enormous excess capacity in the US economy is going to meet a demand shock demand in the US is simply going to stop.">> Wasn't his Barrons comment regarding Cymer that "their business is simply going to stop"? Clearly the real Mr. Fleckenstein has died, and someone has programmed his word processor to insert some random text in front of "is simply going to stop" and then send the result in as his latest pronouncement.
