I think that the Won depreciation has a lot to do with it. Won has depreciated significantly for quite a while. Everybody started to build inventory for Christmas since summer quarter. Maxtor was able to sell through with the most aggressive pricing. You can tell that Maxtor has been the price leader in retail. Without won depreciation, the current pricing environment would have made everyone difficult to make money.
I don't know if Maxtor is cutting back like SEG, QNTM and WDC in production. Fujitsu did cut back, though.
