"Render unto Caesar" is the beginning of a phrase attributed to Jesus in the synoptic gospels, which reads in full, "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's" [Matthew 22:21] This phrase has become a widely quoted summary of the relationship between Christianity, secular government, and society. The original message, coming in response to a question of whether it was lawful for Jews to pay taxes to Caesar, gives rise to multiple possible interpretations about the circumstances under which it is desirable for the Christian to submit to earthly authority.

The old testament is a collection of fireside tales written down after the invention of writing. Some OT content is entertaining and some is a direct revelation that Christ came in fulfilment of. John 20:29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John might have been writing about Paul... Paul's conversion is mentioned in the Epistles and in Acts. According to both Paul was not a follower of Jesus, did not know him before His crucifixion. Paul's conversion occurred after Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection. All the apostles were practising Jews and woke on the subject of salvation.
