JAPAN IS COMING!!!JAPAN IS COMING!!! For those who saw the CBS news segment, it noted that Japan is intending on getting their hybrid cars to the U.S. in two years. And they will be selling them at a LOSS at first. BIG COMPETITION for the BIG 3, if they can't meet the MPG with the cost. Along comes BAAT. Technology that does not require retooling. Perhaps boosting up MPG 30-40%. WHO CARES ABOUT THE 100MPG OBJECTIVE. FORD does not care. They care about how much they can boost their cars with BAAT. If its possible to meet the MPG of the cars from Japan, without going to hybrid (the more gadgets, the more cost, the more repairs), don't you think they would be VERY interested. It gives them an option of only going with the BAAT tech, and meeting Japans MPG at a much lower production cost, OR, adding BAAT to a hybrid, and beating the MPG of Japan. Did FORD jump up and down and get all excited at the TEST? NO!!!!! They are not stupid. You think they will show their hand BEFORE they sign any agreements, with all the competition looking over their shoulder. Ok. Thats all.
