Who are you to judge? Have you ever really spoken to someone who is religious? I think not because if you did you would have more compassion for them; for without their faith, they'd kill themselves. Of course, you don't realize that because no one who is religious enough ever felt close enough to you to tell you that. It must have been a right wing religious administrator/bureaucrat who busted your chops and got you fired from your teaching job years ago and that is the source of your hostility toward religion.
