There is a home team tendency to be biased for underdog stories. I'm there, guilty.

Joe Montana was taken at the bottom of the third round, 82nd pick. Brady 6th round, 199th pick.

Kris Kristofferson was a janitor at Columbia Recording studios, oops I digress...

There are reasons Brock Purdy lasted until the final pick (as noted, pick 262) and won that title "Mr. Irrelevant."

It's going to be bedy bedy intewesting.

I did a little research/scouting. He does possess an accurate (not particularly strong) arm. Quick release, good under pressure. He is known for reading zones well, competitive spirit and being a leader though I can't imagine an NFL quarterback who lacks fire and leadership qualities.

Miami's defensive line was pretty tough - Purdy stood in well. He kept his cool. It's going to be interesting the rest of this year.
