Canada trashed passenger train travel years ago, there is practically no short haul bus service and most of the train stations have been turned into casinos. Canadian trains are incredibly dangerous, people are afraid of them and for good reason. Lac-Mégantic rail disaster Travel by bus is almost as bad, this happens all the time here.
