The only remaining obstacle to the creation of competitive alternatives to fossil fuel use... including in transportation... is the interference of the state (and their "friends") in markets. They don't really give a rats ass about "clean"... they only want to force a redirect of economic activity into channels they control... but, the control imposed prevents it from succeeding.
