Someone elsewhere suggested that Musk had given James Baker the rope to hang himself with and be fired for cause. However, that would contradict what Musk said about only being aware of Baker's hand in vetting the Twitter Files starting Sunday. Still surprises me that Baker didn't get cut right away. Apparently Elon's been known to catch leakers with traps, such as company-wide internal bulletins with text variations contained in them so that each is unique.
