Example: Our local rural provider already has fiber cable in place with about 4500 subscribers. The problem is between the pole and the house. This problem for data transmission is being handled mostly by the rbocs' and companies like msft etc thruu adsl for telephone carriers. Suspect here lays the holdup for implimentation of vod. mY QUESTION IS; Is this being address by the big cable companies? If so then vod to consumer is a soon reality and ccur to be successful in this direct arena needs to partner with the right company who has this technology in place now.
