Stopped by my local Office Depot to pick-up some supplies yesterday. Started looking at the removable storage offerings and noticed the Zip, Jazz and LS120 were being displayed, they had no Syquest products.

Office D. is not a big seller of hardware in this area, too competition in a major market. But I found it interesting that the IOM and Imation products had equal shelf space. The salesman told me that they are selling almost an equal amount of the 2 products, with a slight advantage to Zip. i was also told that they expect to be receiving notebooks with removable storage built-in from two mfrs. very soon....these will be LS120s. I assume that one of the mfrs. will be Compaq, drive will be furnished in lieu of the floppy.
