mccain and Lindsey republicans tied up with the democrats now funding the war. there is no difference, it appears we have federal dollars supply industries to keep them profitable. Somewhere there must be billions of dollars slushing around to pay off all these people who support on going war!

Yes; Russia was provoked, by endless U.S. actions to push our sphere of influence ever eastward in Europe. We just kept pushing.

But, is that an excuse? It’s like a man who says, “Yes, I hit my wife, but it’s her fault. She provoked me. She burnt the casserole, and hit the children.”

If Russia’s goal was just to protect the Russian-speaking people in eastern Ukraine, they did not have to attack Kiev and Kharkov. That was overreach, and it failed. And they should not be wrecking civilian infrastructure throughout Ukraine. That is a war crime.

Putin fought a limited war in 2014, and won. If he had fought another limited war now, he would have won again.
