Which "supposed experts" said Russia was out to take over the whole of Ukraine? I've never seen that from anyone except the pro-Ukraine Zelensky supporting alarmists that are trying to propagandize for more money. Certainly it has never come from anyone who expects Russia to accomplish its real objectives. Russia will not defeat Ukraine and take over the entire country. Despite the silly proclamations from supposed experts.

Well, duh! What do you think they're for? Russia would have to resort to nuc weapons in order to save their skin. Any idiot knows that economically little Russia with only 0.1 billion relatively poor people couldn't possibly defeat 1.2 billion wealthy heavily armed and well-trained militarily in a "conventional" war. The NATO gangsters have about 100 times the military capacity of Russia. But Russia does have sufficient atomic bombs and delivery methods to make the NATO bullies think twice. Of course Russian cities, towns and military would be obliterated, but so much of Eurostan and USA would experience the same that the survivors would wish that such a MAD idea had not been adopted. For some reason, modern Americans have lost their minds - though they've always had only a tenuous grip on reality. Well, I suppose that applies widely, but being the biggest and most dangerous, USA crazy is especially dangerous. NZ going insane doesn't matter to the rest of the world. It's interesting that right there = you, there's somebody who exhibits the thinking that "We can just crush Putin and Russia .... let's get 'em. It's all their fault and We are the Greatest. Woohoo... Cakewalk. Turkey shoot. What fun." Apart from the ethical and moral aspects, it's insane. Russia with mirved ICBMs isn't a herd of Somalis, Taleban, Libyans, or ISIS armed with IEDs and rifles. But even those beat the USA badly enough that there was much hand-wringing over the nasty outcomes. Black Hawk Down, "My great friend Chris" [the Libyan ambassador], Taleban bombing Americans at the airport as a final farewell, while taking over megatons of equipment. Do you know about 1812 Overture? Crimean war? Barbarossa? etc.... Napoleon's Grande Armee did not enjoy a cakewalk back to Paris after the Moscow turkey shoot. Barbarossa wasn't all fun either for the Germans. Yet Germans are wanting to now do Barbarossa II which will also not go well for Ursula and her loony harridan harpie coven. You should hope that Russia can bring to bear sufficient artillery and whatnot to keep NATO at bay without excessive destruction of Russia, because if they can't, the MAD alternative is not going to be a good outcome for USA. The Twin Towers being obliterated was a big deal. But minuscule compared with what's coming. Imagine 50 megaton obliteration of ALL of New York, and Washington, and Los Angeles, and hundreds of other cities. There will be Preppers survive. But not a lot more. It's not just the immediate obliteration either, but the follow up famines as systems will be broken and irreplaceable. Even the corn seed doesn't exist - it's infertile corn seed these days. Distribution systems won't work. Nothing much will work. Your internet connection will be gone along with electricity, water and everything else. Cannibalism will work for a while - big fat Americans will provide plenty of calories for the victors in hand to hand combat. What's weird is that will result from imagined absurdity - "We can't let Putin rebuild the USSR as we imagine he wants to do and take over all of Eurostan and enslave us all. We have to fight him over there to stop him joining the millions rampaging over the southern border. He started the attack to conquer Ukraine out of the blue, no reason, no background, no provocation, no threats from NATO, no murder of Russians living in Ukraine, no murder and attacks on Russians in Donetsk, Luhansk etc in the east, no Zbig plan to get revenge for Stalin's horrors ... he just woke up one day and thought conquering the world would be great for him. We'd better have a nuclear war which of course we'll win coz USA!USA!!USA!!! If Russia has Crimea [as it always had] and Luhansk Donetsk etc in the east, then our lives in USA are going to be really upset. I'll wake each morning and feel angry that Russians in Donetsk are part of Russia instead of Kiev. Even though I wouldn't have a clue about where Donetsk is, who they are or anything else and it doesn't matter a damn whether Crimea is owned by Russia or Kievans.
