CC just ended. I'm new to the Q&A on these but, it seemed very bullish
First they explained the problems that plagued the co after the IPO, and how they've been solved. Described 1997 as the year the company turned around. 98 is seen as the transitional year, with many new exciting products being introduced esp in Q2. Comfortable w/ analyst forecast of 50% top line rev growth. Margins have been increasing in the commercial sector ~ 25% to the mid 70% range on gross margins. Gov contracts not being seeked out, due to low GM, except where it would help them w/ R&D. Not too wooried about the big non specific security companies (i.e Cisco, MSFT) due to lower ed of those offered products. In fact their deal w/ CSCO has SCUR supplying the solution to customers asking for higher end product. They have good international growth, and actually have seen Japan sales increase.
Also mentioned senior mgmt options are tied to stock performance, being vested only after the stock has risen and stayed at various levels for a certain # of days. PW finished with a buy reccommendation, and forecasts .30 for FY98, and .50 for FY99. It seemed very positive.
