A friend of mine drowned when she was a kid, her mom told her to not go into the deep end at about age 9 and she did, she survived, mom spent a few days sedated in the hospital. A few years later we skipped school and went to my friend's uncle's motel that had a pool. It was a nice hot summer afternoon and a local businessman was skipping work with his secretary and came up blue, apparently had a heart attack from too much fun and swallowed a bunch of water, he did not survive.
