I have been focusing more on building taxable dividend account. WEC, SRE and NEE have more growth potential than D at this time. However, D there longterm goal of net zero emission may be clouding their growth prospects. While its a good aspirational goal, it should not come at the expense of growth. In fact, if they focus on the right growth by increasing efficiencies, they could achieve the same result. I am still accumulating shares in the weakness because I think they will turn the corner.

Re: Young Folk Portfolio - Add on Buy & Sell Actions ...

Today I sold the position in NVDA. The position was down more than 20% and under the current condition of the market, where semiconductor companies are taking a beating, I didn't want to take a deeper drawdown and I don't see the current market conditions conducive to averaging down on NVDA, so I sold it.

I also took some profits in ABBV .. CAT .. DUK.

All of these moves were in the Roth Account so I don't get a write off for tax purposes on NVDA nor did I trigger a taxable event for the other positions.

These moves generated just over $7,500.

Sold:

NVDA - 32 shares
ABBV - 6 shares
CAT - 4 shares
DUK - 10 shares

Bought:

ESS - 12 shares @ $210.01
MAA - 16 shares @ $154.66
VICI - 80 shares @ $32.40

The goal here is to build a real estate portfolio within the Roth Account.

Current real estate holdings:

O ....... $7,824
PLD ... $6,661
LSI ..... $5,836
DHI .... $5,221
VICI ... $2,614
ESS ... $2,560
MAA ... $2,524

In looking forward, the Roth contributions will be going into the 3 smaller real estate holdings as I wish to bring them up in size to the other holdings within that account.
