IOM & BAY

IOM - Not looking for much out if it right now. It could be ready to continue back up, with with the inside bar and the small volume, I wasn't encouraged. I follow that one so if its on my watch list, you could take that as a good sign at least technically.

BAY - whoever was waiting for my call on this one might have to wait awhile - I don't follow it. It was a buy at 28, and won't break another technical threshold until it closes strong above 32.

Rik,
I do apologize as I meant no offense. Maybe this crazy market has put me in a cynical mood! When I "investigate" a company, I look beyond the obvious things like revenues and earnings. I look for changes, subtle or otherwise sequentially as well as year over year. For example.....DSO's, inventories, %sales to key customers,%market share, tax changes, write downs(often keyed to inventories)any dilutive measures...and even any change not directly related to the finances(change again is the key such as gaining or losing personnel).
So if it is any help at all,I would suggest perhaps noting these type of things that will have a more forward impact on the companies profits.Putting things in %terms also speeds of the read. When earnings are reported that is old news..helpful,yes,but still in the past. So as a reporter it might help to dig up some of these less highlighted areas.Just my opinion.I am sure others use other things to guide them and they could be of more help.
Regards,
Barbara
