Cold climate, minimal heat loss, long winters with nothing better than drafts to think about. Looks silly but might cut down on shouts to shut the door.

It took me years to not prance a little when I walked, from growing up in a cold climate, walking on snow and ice.


Hmmmm.

So I guess foggy weather does this?

Well, it was 1979, the height of the "energy crisis." Making houses airtight was all the rage, until we realized a little air passing through was a good thing.
