This morning's planned launch of a Boeing Delta 2 rocket carrying five
Iridium system satellites was scrubbed due to unacceptable high altitude winds. A date for the next launch attempt from Space Launch Complex-2 West at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California has not yet been announced, but will be at least a couple of days away. Boeing will now turn its attention to Saturday's scheduled launch of Delta 2 rocket carrying four Globalstar communications satellite.
