Germany, I think, isn’t particularly driven to become militarized, and they aren’t doing very much in that direction. With Japan, we are actively encouraging them - since they would be an important partner in any conflict with China. Their increase in military expenditures is going to be rather dramatic - from $49 billion in 2020 up to the planned $320 billion. Apparently, ahead of China. From what I see, Japan will have the 2nd highest military budget.
