I ended up doing some skiing locally - NY, New England - but also, we did 1-2 larger ski trips every year. The Rockies, Lake Tahoe… foreign trips - Canadian Rockies, Spain, Chile. Several trips to France - Chamonix Mont Blanc is my favorite spot. Swiss alps, of course… Austria, Italy. Even Poland. Along the way, you get to know many places. Much more fun to travel when you have a purpose (like, to come back home in one piece… lol )
