Hi Smith,

My 110 puts for KMI at strike price of $14.00 expired to $00.00. That allowed me to keep the $2508.00 in cash. The 40 15.00's puts I bot to close early for 2 cents which netted a profit of $2419.00 and the 20 16's I bot to close for 3 cents which netted $1819.0016.00 expired to zero also. All those puts were sold back in May when price was lower.

None the less, it was a big obligation to buy up to 17,000 shares of KMI Total premium received that turned into cash was $6746. Had they been assigned they would have yielded in the 7.37 to 8.06%. I was OK with either opportunity (expiration of assignment).

This is the first time I decided to try a bigger quantity of puts on the lower strike prices. It is a safer way to go.

If the 16's had been assigned, the $4927 in lower priced puts sure would have helped paying for the 16's.

If KMI ever drops into the 16's, I'll do that again.

I still have 40 January 14's and 50 January 15's with 10 January 17's.

Hoping the 17's get assigned, and the 14's and 15's help me pay for them.

We made in back to Houston in time for cold and rain.

Wishing you and your family a MERRY CHRISTMAS.

May 2023 be a profitable year for you also!

Thanks for your excellent contributions here over the last year.

I read a good article on selling covered calls on INTC. They suggested going out 35 days on the 30 strike price. I have a small Position in INTC AND IT IS UNDERWATER.

I'm thinking about trying that in 2023.
