Speaking of new records, it looks like a volume record for LGND is in the making. When this thread was started on Sept 12, 1996, LGND set a volume record (1.48 million) due to news about Targretin's new indications (treatment and prevention of breast cancer and type II diabetes). That volume record was broken on 1/15/97 (1.52 million).

It looks lime both will be history today, as LGND's volume closes in on 1 1/2 million shares.
