I really don't see the fascination with the metals which is so controlled by the global central banks and the FED, why even bother with it??? Realize this is just my opinion: I think of precious metals as a put option on confidence in the banking authorities. I know there are savvy people here who realize the Fed is a fraud ... but the 'put' is for when there is widespread recognition of how bad they have f'd up. Right on ... to shorting every bear market rally ... until we have proof it is over. That will be profitable, but PMs offer leverage. You've seen me malign the VIX products and I am still of the same opinion. They only do well when everything goes to ch*t all at once. The standout in history is the covid-coup. There was serious money in them there. I understand why folks view precious metals the same way. They've been dead money, except for that quick leg out of the covid-coup, but don't ignore the charts -- that leg up -- on a much larger time-scale started BEFORE the covid-coup. Large waves take time to develop and if you only look short-term ... you can miss historic opptys? Not saying we are there ... but that we could be. Proof is in the pudding.
