I guess I just don't see things the same as you do. I think Jim Rogers is polite, not rude. He simply has his views and he defends them vigorously. He is naturally skeptical of our govt and people like Greenspan. He's right, don't listen to Greenspan.

I learn a lot from Jim Rogers even though I don't always agree with him. He doesn't get everything right (just like everybody else) but you always know where he stands.

Cramer on the other hand is rude, trashing just about everyone. He goes out of his way to dump on Jimmy, yet I have never heard Jim Rogers say one mean thing about Cramer.

I disagree with you about learning from Cramer though. I have learned a lot from him too. He is also entertaining and enjoyable to watch. But sometimes he drives me up the wall with his rudeness and hypocrisy. I guess you would call it a love hate relationship when it comes to my thoughts about Cramer.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that I take a little piece of info from this guest and a little info from that guest and put it all together to help shape my investment style. The funny thing is I agree with most of the people Cramer likes. I like Vince Farell and Gabelli and Joe Battipaglia just like him.

It's just Jim Rogers that I don't see eye to eye with Cramer on. I'm wondering if they have some history between them that makes Cramer hate him so much. Cramer doesn't like B Biggs or J Grant either but he doesn't trash them nearly as often. He goes out of his way to trash JR.

Nothing cuts the fluff out of CNBC like the old FF button. -g- When Jimmy refers to people not living in the real world, he is talking about economists, not CNBC brass and talking heads. You make a good point about the "noise" comments. I don't like his Squawk Box appearances that much because he is forced comment on things he doesn't care about. I much prefer his Market Wrap interviews. I do get a kick it of it when he rips CNBC for all the garbage they program, though.
