Could some kindly soul spare me the effort of researching what I had already noted and (apparently) cleverly lost: what were the Qtr 1 1997 earnings?
Gracias

Wayne,

This number was arrived at when Jay and I where driving back from the Minneapolis Airport (about a 5 hr. drive at 3 in the morning) after the Vegas Toy Show. The best that I can recollect (through the 13 cans of Coke and 2 packs of cigs) is that we figured out how many weeks of OT the company would have to put in to make up for the plant closing for Chinese New Year and deduced that this wouldn't be real tough, and a variety of other figures and we came up with .54 . Now don't get me wrong this was all done in our heads without aid of paper and we were still on our new toy buzz after the show so this may have inflatted it some. Anywho this number was arrived at with some thought unlike my dream of .34 for Q3 of 97 about 3 days before earnings release.

Maybe Jay can remember how we came up with these numbers since at the time his brain was getting the added stimulus of nicotine.

Sincerely, Terry
