Both sides do both. It might be safe to say conservatives wait until the end to share wealth though I'm not sure. Bill Gates didn't do much until he was nearing the end with MSFT. Getty museum, Hearst, various foundations etc. What have the founders of ORCL, INTC, AAPL etc done? I know lots of liberals that are proud to tell to the world how they volunteered at a soup kitchen but will dial 911 in a second if a car drives in their neighborhood that isn't a rolls Royce or Mercedes. All these Hollywood types love having specials to raise funds from the masses but how many give half their millions/billions away. They have more than they need so why are they hoarding it? You showed you made 30k last week on a trade. You could support a few immigrant families with that. You should just give it to a few since it was money you were willing to risk and lose anyway.
