Congrats on surviving so long and beating the odds.

I am merely a statistic. LOL

During my recovery years from alcohol 14 years ago, I was involved in small groups where we met in someone's house at night and on weekends. We helped each other remodel houses, pay doctors bill and move etc.... Everything we donated went 100% to someone in need.

The hardest thing I have ever done was volunteer to be a Sunday school teacher for one summer. Now they deserve to be paid more than the pastors. LOL

The most satisfying thing I have ever done was the summer I did a jail ministry with the inmates. But once I started sharing my story with the inmates and we were able to connect on a deeper level, the leader of the group, started cutting me off and limited my interactions with the inmates. He just wanted to pump bible verses down their throats.

Once again, I agree with the principles of it all, just trying to find the balance of it as a business vs trying to apply it to real life situations to effectively help others is the challenge for me.

Being a father is the best gift of life to me at this point. I sucked at being a husband. LOL
