You are so right! I mean, I NEVER get into these stupid issues things. And as soon as I do, as soon as I care about something, try to make a difference in this world, I'm forced to turn my home into a fortress and fear for my life and the custody of my children. It's enough to make me get out my inhaler again. I never answer my phone anyway though. I hate phones. It always amazes me when people say they can't not answer a phone. I mean, I have to force myself to pick it up. I say things to myself like-"Penni! It could be Ed McMann!" But mostly I wait for the machine. I wonder if Ed leaves messages. Lethargy is a nice word. I've always liked ennui too.
