Go live in one of the long term care facilities run by the government and you'll understand. You'll sit in your chit and piss for hours, you'll be ignored, and you'll be on your own. You'll be afraid to speak out for fear of retribution. Care is dependent on which nurse and psws you get. Many of the good ones have left. The politicians you apologize for, and support, did this by failing to provide proper management, direction, policies and enforcement to the people that work in these systems, and failing to properly fund it. And you vote for them and keep them in power.
