are you saying that social security and medicare do not resonate with voters? Ah, but they are not easy to fix. The last time he tried to tackle something difficult (healthcare), it didn't exactly make him more popular. He's just feeding congressional Dems a weapon to hit their opponents with this fall. The risk is that this pandering works in taking back the congress and then they actually do start passing wage hikes, tax hikes, spending hikes, protectionist measures ... Bob
