You have good points the planet is indeed strong and can take care of a lot of things.

But there is deterioration in many sectors ( I am not ready to call it destruction yet). I don't think the planet will fix these things.

I hope I will live another 20 years to see what happens.

In the mean time, have a great new year and great trades in 2023. I am more a long term investor that a trader. But I like to read about what other think about what lies ahead. There is always something to learn.

Not even 20 years after the last human leaves the planet, the atmosphere would return to normal, all the roads will be covered over with grass, shrubs, and bushes...

What do you think will cause the total extinction of the human race? Nuclear war? A plague? Mass suicide if the Democrats get complete control over our government again?

After 70 years there would be no evidence anywhere to prove that humans even existed other that for the buildings which will eventually decay and fall apart...

You've stoked my curiosity. In my research I found that mankind's pollution, such as glass bottles could last for a million years; plastic bags up to 500 years; stainless steel up to 1000 years; structures made out of stone; and teeth for tens of thousands of years. But, that is nitpicking! Eventually there would be no sign.

There's no stock market today and I had nothing better to do! :)

Sadly, the amount of garbage, raw sewerage, and toxic chemicals that are poured into our air, streams and ocean will just get worse over time! My prediction is that diseases like COPD, Asthma, heart failure and cancer will increase because of it!
