Mohan,
Take it easy on Charlie and us DECers. I think he's just trying to understand CPQ. We tend to be more objective on the DEC board and have less ranting when our stock dips. We are more used to dips in our stock.
We welcome bears over there. I only criticized the bears when their arguements weren't good enough (it was always easy to criticize DEC, but the bears hit on it for the wrong reasons).
Your posts on the WSJ article have been very reasonable and well thought out. There were many others who just ranted, instead of selling their stock and leveraging in with options like a true bull.
As for Charlie (read his DEC posts - a nice guy), he should sell his 3K DEC shares and buy 5.5K Compaq shares and sleep better with those than with DEC. As a matter of fact, sleeping with DEC shares is a bit like sleeping with Lorena Bobbit. You never know how much you'll be missing in the morning....
