Putin and Zelensky are BOTH tzars. Zelensky getting is really rich off aid. You can steal a billion in a year. Vlad appears to care, it’s a popularity trick. The truth is he came to power in 2000, and is still in power in 2022. Both Russia and Ukraine still have KGB successors, Ukraine even more terrifying to Ukraine citizen than Russian counterpart to Russians. Vlad gave control of oil and gas companies to his buddies. 30 years after the fall of Soviet Union not much has changed. Russia is still pumping oil and gas and produces little more. Well they have missiles, obviously. They have good food. There were some high tech billionaires like Durov, but he left. And people keep falling out of windows. A KGB-run state is not my idea of Democracy. America has problems, but a lot less than RF. Yeah, if you steal a billion you either go to prison for life like SBF or enjoy a wealthy lifestyle provided there is no hyperinflation. So the elites won’t permit it.
