Conference call must have been fairly positive since we're now at 5 1/2, a level we haven't seen since november. However, the market maker is keeping the spread at 3/8, so we may back off a bit before the close.

got a call from someone who listened to conference call. Said it was upbeat...a few notes...relayed to me very quickly, hope I get them right...

Dov was very pleased with rising margins throughout 97. Said that once C-One is taken out, margins should improve much further into 98.

Dov and Chuck are very happy with Marshall deal. Marshall is very pleased with M-Systems products and relationship is very good.

FLSHF is looking to OEM deals as a way of creating exponential growth. Sees diskless pcs etc as offering great potential.

Thought ATA could start contributing significantly in 98. Was asked about converting potential customers to Linear. Dov said may have an announcement of a customer making switch soon.

Was asked about OEM deals...Dov couldn't mention specific names. But when asked about Microsoft and Windows 98, Dov said that relationship with MSFT was closer than ever.

5 or 6 analysts asked questions. Lots of congratulations for Dov.
