Just a reminder, D. Nunes was suspended, by Ryan, due to an "ethics investigation". Schiff got to run the show and Nunes was essentially hamstrung like PDJT with/during the meh-Russia/Mueller probe. I would agree that Repubs do not have the intestinal fortitude to go all-in like the Dems do.
