Visited Natick store with clearance banner today before the President's birthday sale. Stocked better than last visit, but still need more fill about 20% more merchandise. Women's and girl's especially needed more stock. Also, visited Bradlee who started making money and Caldor as well. Both stores are now pack to capacity. Both went upscale. Prides Landing surplus sweater at Bradlee is tagged for $39.99 each. "Old style sweater" will have to do clearance later. Bradlee has 6 cashiers all busy.

This reminded me of AMES' need to get 2400 vendors, some exclusive? You can not find 2400 in the Thomas Register. So, some exclusive vendors have to be suppliers of gray market products. Meaning products sold to a competitor or a mail order house and became surplus.

Traffic is still normal, but at the competitors as well. Will visit again to check out the outcome after more density packing of products in AMES stores.
