Great story. Sounds like she’s able to learn.

Perhaps, before going all the way to apologizing, you could try wishing her a “good morning” or a “nice day” a few times. I’d assume they programmed her to be nice to us humans :)

Many many years ago (SCSI drive time period) I had a user who had a lot of problems with computers.

Whenever she had a problem she always be mad at the computer saying all sorts of things.

I told her that might be the problem, talk nice to the computer and treat it nice and perhaps you'll have fewer issues.

It actually worked...

(And besides, when AI takes over, don't think they wouldn't remember.. :-) )
