The thing about most places I've lived... you can choose NOT to be part of the cult you imagine to exist. You can drop off the grid and ignore the "pressures" these guys are talking about... Long winded Russell goes on and on about some "cult" with no specifics. People choose to be "woke", you don't have to be... You can define yourself however you want to, within the Law and within the policies of the company you choose to work for or keep. OTOH, the big threat is the religious right, that wants to take away choice. They want government to enact laws that punish women for instance who choose to use contraception or terminate an unwanted pregnancy. They want to give people the "freedom" to discriminate against others for their choice of partner, their religion, color, creed, ethnicity, you name it. They are the ones in the cult.
