You short players can't be this naive. I hear all this talk about valuations and P/E in relation to an internet company. Valuations do not matter and won't until you hear people saying "gee internet usage among the populace is starting to level off." The internet is exploding and computer neophytes love AOL for its simplicity. You are also trying to short a tremendous growth stock after a stock split announcement but before the split?????? That is a sure loser. Why throw your money away. They will rise up to the split and through it for 2-7 days and then . . . then . . . it just might be time to think about shorting. All the logic, analysis, hope, collective sympathy and pain from "AOL shorts anon." ain't gonna bring this down before then. Capitulate and cover so we can make more $$$$$. I never wish a stock loss on anyone but when people come on a thread, trash a stock, and brag about how rich they are gonna get when a stock many are long on tanks, I have absolutely no sympathy and wish them nothing but pain and misfortune.
