Right now, we're blocking in the sun, and that's starting to backfire, too.
I've always argued that it makes more sense for humanity to adapt to a changing climate, rather than try to control it.

I've also argued that CO2 is not a pollutant, but rather one of many variables that contribute to an ever-shifting equilibrium.

Trying to block out the sun using solar shades or stratospheric particulates sound incredibly problematic at best. And that's not even counting the doomsday scenarios that sci-fi has already illustrated.

But at least these ideas are fun to talk about. And if said discussions can attract taxpayer dollars, then I must ask, "Where's my cut?"
