Hmmmmmm ... not too sure that's a good idea. As long as IMRS stays at 45'ish or below, then it looks like we all done good. If it takes off to 55'ish, then the likely result will be to hang the leader.

Loved the IMRS acronym (It's My Retirement, Stupid).

Actually, just after I retired, I thought about starting up a consulting company named "RALI". Retired, And Loving It.

Trouble is, I couldn't bring myself to come out of retirement to do the consulting. Seemed like Mutual Exclusivity.

SEC MULLS MORE REPORTING ON YEAR-2000 COMPLIANCE

The proposal would increase the number of reports most broker dealers and nonbank transfer agents must give to the SEC on their Millenium Bug solutions. It would require two progress reports during 1998 and three during 1999. The only tool we have are books and records violations, said SEC head Laura Unger. The new reports would have to include audited information about Year-2000 plans and costs involved.
