How on earth say do we fund say Nordic style socialism (which seems to work pretty well) WITHOUT capitalism.. we cannot.. simple.. Oh yes communism tries/tried to do that.. does NOT WORK :) kills animal spirits in most.. and concentrates wealth and power even worse than runaway capitalism could ever hope for.. kinda like old style feudalism Marx was a dumbass with no comprehension of humankind IMO I have said many a time it is that little bit of altruism in us that makes humans dominant.. but too much altruism leads to perdition ... Communism for sure is an evolutionary dead end on the political/social evolutionary tree.. and socialism needs be careful it does not try to do TOO much.. kill animal spirits and capitalism I will refresh my three tenets .. UBI.. Universal Basic Income .. no other this fare, that fare , whatever fare, unemployment insurance, gov old age pension, medical insurance required UHC universal health care / drug plans Quality public education ... we have far far too many government departments (kingdoms) .. The bureaucratic overload is untenable and far too too costly If you have food, a place to live health care, education .. the rest is all on you.. You can be a bum and take UBI as welfare or say .. WOW!!!!.. I can eat, have a safe enough place to live, get schooled and stay healthy.. There WILL ALWAYS BE RICHER FOLKS .. They did it right.. now I have have that chance.. too !!!! WOW!!!
